Job Description:
As a General Aviation Maintenance Technician at Clearwater Airmotive, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and servicing various types of general aviation aircraft. Your responsibilities will include inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance tasks to ensure aircraft are safe and airworthy.
Responsibilities:
Perform/assist in routine inspections and maintenance on general aviation aircraft, including but not limited to single-engine and multi-engine piston aircrafts.
Diagnose and troubleshoot aircraft systems, components, and avionics to identify issues and implement appropriate solutions.
Conduct repairs and replacements of aircraft parts and components in accordance with manufacturer specifications and FAA guidelines..
Complete documentation of maintenance activities, including logbook entries, work orders, and compliance records.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
Adhere to safety protocols, procedures, and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate preferred/not required.
- Previous experience in general aviation maintenance preferred.
- Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, structures, and components.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
